Cancellation Policy

RED has developed the following cancellation policy to best respond to its communities’ expectations and because of limited space in its continuing education courses.

Understandably, RED must advance the funds to secure its instructors, venues and equipment. Moreover, when a participant cancels, especially at the last minute, someone who would have wanted to register is penalized. Therefore, any cancellation of a course or other event carries a penalty, whether for medical or other reasons.

For all events and courses

  • Cancellation more than 30 days before the event: 20% of the fee will be charged (administration fee).
  • Cancellation between 30 days and 7 days before the event: 50% of the fee will be charged (administration fee + incurred expenses).
  • No refund for a cancellation less than 7 days before the event, except for a medical reason confirmed by a medical certificate. In this case, 50% of the fee will be retained.
  • An absent participant who has not cancelled will be charged the entire amount.

Online training

No refund for online training. Participants can complete the course at their leisure once it is purchased.

Cancelled or postponed activity

RED reserves the right to cancel any activity for any reason whatsoever. For subsidized activities, RED can cancel or postpone if it does not attain the minimum number of participants required by the funder.

In the case of cancellation or postponement, participants will be informed and quickly reimbursed in full unless they decide to postpone their registration.
